Utordo is an iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) company that integrates well with Peoplevox merchants. Utordo reads live edits and supports all Order Editing features.

How Utordo Downloads Orders
Utordo downloads orders when the payment status is "Paid" in Shopify.
How the Integration Works
Despite Utordo's ability to read live edits, a dual-approach integration ensures maximum reliability:
Order created → Payment authorized (status: "Authorized") + fulfillment hold tag applied
Grace period active → Customer can edit order
Utordo does not download → Order not "Paid" and has hold tag
Grace period ends → Payment captured, status updates to "Paid", hold tag removed
Utordo downloads order → Order sent with all edits included
Live edits sync → Any further changes sync in real-time (if needed)
Setup Instructions
Step 1: Change Payment Capture Setting
Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Payments
Change Payment capture method to Automatically after fulfillment
Click Save
Step 2: Import Utordo Master Flow
Download Order Editing x Utordo_Master Flow (1).flow
Navigate to Shopify Admin > Apps > Shopify Flow
Import the Flow file
Configure timing to match your editing deadline (e.g., 30 minutes)
Activate the Flow
Save
What this Flow does:
Delays payment capture during editing window
Applies fulfillment hold tag to prevent early download
Removes hold tag and captures payment when editing period ends

Important: Always contact Utordo's support before launching a merchant with Order Editing.

Testing
Test before going live:
Confirm with Richard at Utordo that setup is correct
Place test order
Verify order doesn't appear in Utordo immediately
Check that hold tag is applied and payment status is "Authorized"
Make various edits during editing window:
Add products
Remove products
Change quantities
Update shipping address
Apply discount codes
Wait for editing period to expire
Verify hold tag is removed and payment is captured
Confirm order appears in Utordo with all edits
Test live edit sync (if applicable to your setup)
Troubleshooting
Orders appearing in Utordo too early: Verify Flow is active and payment capture setting is correct
Orders not appearing after grace period: Check that payment is captured AND hold tag is removed
Tags not appearing/removing: Review Flow configuration and verify it's active
