### Best Practices for Personalization

#### Visual Consistency:

* Use your brand colors throughout - Copy, buttons, stars, strikethroughs should align with your brand palette
* Maintain consistent styling - Apply the same visual approach across all checkout pages

#### Content Display:

* Show reviews if you have them - Social proof significantly increases conversion
* Keep descriptions for complex products - Technical items, bundles benefit from explanations

#### Headlines and Messaging:

* Create custom headlines - More effective than generic text
* Match your brand voice - Casual, professional, playful—whatever fits your brand
* Keep headlines short - 5-8 words maximum

### Common Personalization Questions

#### Do personalization changes apply to all upsell strategies?

Block-level customizations (colors, layout) apply to that specific block on that page. Developer Settings apply globally to all upsell strategies.

#### Can I have different styles on different pages?

Yes! Each block (Checkout, Thank You, Order Status) can be customized independently with different colors and layouts.

#### Will hiding descriptions affect conversion?

It depends on your products. Simple, self-explanatory items convert well without descriptions. Complex products benefit from descriptions. Test both approaches.

#### Do review stars automatically pull from my review app?

Yes, once enabled, Order Editing pulls ratings from your connected review app (like Yotpo, Judge.me, etc.).
