Overview

NoFraud is a fraud prevention service that screens orders before payment capture. To integrate NoFraud with Order Editing, special configuration is required to ensure fraud checks don't conflict with the editing window.

Integration method required: Connect Integration with Custom NoFraud Flow

Important: If you use NoFraud, please book a call with the Order Editing team to ensure proper setup.

How NoFraud Works with Order Editing

NoFraud performs fraud screening on orders before they are fulfilled. When combined with Order Editing's delayed payment capture, timing coordination is essential to avoid premature fraud checks or declined orders.

Integration Options

There are two approaches to integrating NoFraud with Order Editing:

Ask your NoFraud account manager to delay the fraud check until after your editing period ends.

Option B: NoFraud Check at Edit Period End

Allow Order Editing to capture payment at the end of the editing period, then NoFraud performs the check.

Setting Up NoFraud Integration

Step 1: Book a Call with the Order Editing Team

Due to the complexity of NoFraud integration, we recommend booking a call with the Order Editing team:

  1. Contact Order Editing support to schedule an onboarding call

  2. Have your NoFraud account details ready

  3. Discuss your specific fraud prevention requirements

Step 2: Contact NoFraud Account Manager

Work with your NoFraud account manager to configure one of the following:

Option A - Delay Check:

  • Request NoFraud to delay fraud screening until after your editing periodSpecify your editing window duration (e.g., 30 minutes)NoFraud will hold the check until the window closes

Option B - Check After Capture:

  • Configure Order Editing to capture payment at edit period endNoFraud performs check after captureIf fraud is detected, appropriate action is taken post-capture

Step 3: Enable the Integration

  1. Connect your NoFraud account in Order Editing settings

  2. Follow the specific flow provided by the Order Editing team

  3. Test thoroughly before going live

Testing Your Integration

Required Tests:

Before going live, test the following scenarios:

Test 1: Order Flow Verification

  1. Place a test order

  2. Verify the fraud check timing matches your configuration

  3. Complete an edit during the editing window

  4. Verify the order processes correctly with fraud check

Test 2: Fraud Check Timing

  1. Place a test order

  2. Verify NoFraud check occurs at the correct time (after editing period if using delay)

  3. Confirm order is not prematurely flagged
