How to upsell recently viewed products

How to Enable Recently Viewed Data

For Order Editing to track recently viewed products, you must enable the Order Editing app in your theme settings.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. In your Shopify Admin, go to Sales Channels

  2. Click Online Store

  3. Navigate to Themes

  4. Click Customize (for your active theme)

  5. In the theme editor sidebar, scroll down to find App embeds (usually at the bottom)

  6. Locate Order Editing App in the list

  7. Toggle ON to enable the Order Editing App

  8. Enable the following settings:

  9. Shop Pay (if available)

  10. Automatically Expand Sections to Show (if available)

  11. Click Save

Important Notes

  • Must be enabled for tracking to work - Without this, Recently Viewed strategies won't have data to display

Theme-level setting - This is configured in your theme, not in Order Editing dashboard
