Add in-app messaging

Conditionally allow order downgrading.

The Order Editing app allows you to add a note that will be visible to all customers who edit their orders. This feature is particularly useful for shops running pre-orders on their inventory, where customers might have the option to select different shipping methods during the editing process. For example, if you are running a pre-order for a product that will ship on a certain date, you can add a note that reminds customers that no matter what shipping option they select, the product will still ship on the same date.

To use this feature, you can simply enter your desired message in the "Note" field within the Order Editing app settings. This message will then be displayed to all customers who use the app to edit their orders. You can make the note as flexible as you want, so you can use it to provide any important information or updates to your customers during the Order Editing process.
