Dispatch Lab is a shipping company that does not read live edits. Orders must be finalized before Dispatch Lab downloads them.

How Dispatch Lab Downloads Orders
Dispatch Lab downloads orders when the payment status is "Paid" in Shopify.
How the Integration Works
Order created → Payment authorized (status: "Authorized")
Grace period active → Customer can edit order
Dispatch Lab does not download → Order not visible (not "Paid" yet)
Grace period ends → Payment captured, status updates to "Paid"
Dispatch Lab downloads order → Order sent with all edits included
Setup Instructions
Step 1: Change Payment Capture Setting
Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Payments
Change Payment capture method to Automatically after fulfillment
Click Save
Step 2: Import Delayed Master Flow
Download DELAYED_Order Editing_Master Flow.flow
Navigate to Shopify Admin > Apps > Shopify Flow
Import the Flow file
Configure timing to match your editing deadline (e.g., 30 minutes)
Activate the Flow
Save
Integration Limitations
Shipping Method Updates Not Supported
Dispatch Lab does not support shipping method changes during the editing window.
Required action: Disable the Shipping Methods App Block in Order Editing to prevent customer confusion.

In Order Editing:
Shipping Methods App Block: DISABLED

Testing
Test before going live:
Place test order
Verify order doesn't appear in Dispatch Lab immediately
Make edits during editing window (add/remove items, change address)
Wait for editing period to expire
Confirm order appears in Dispatch Lab with all edits
Verify shipping method changes are blocked (App Block disabled)
Troubleshooting
Orders appearing too early: Verify payment capture setting and Flow activation
Orders not appearing after grace period: Check Flow is capturing payment correctly
Edits not reflecting: Ensure edits were completed before grace period ended (Dispatch Lab doesn't read live edits)
