Product Quanities

What is Product Quantities?

Product Quantities allows customers to adjust the quantity of items in their order during the editing window. Customers can increase or decrease quantities, which changes the total order value accordingly.

How It Appears to Customers

Customers see "Change Product Quanities" within the Order Editing Module. When selected, quantity adjustment controls (+ and - buttons or a number input field) appears next to each product in their order, allowing them to modify how many of each item they want.

When to Use Product Quantities

Best for: Most merchants benefit from enabling this feature.

Examples:

  • Clothing store: Customer accidentally ordered 3 shirts instead of 2, decreases quantity to fix mistake

  • Food/beverage: Customer realizes they need 5 bags of coffee instead of 3, increases quantity

  • Office supplies: Customer adjusts pen quantity from 10 to 20 after reviewing their needs

Benefits:

  • Reduces customer service tickets - Customers fix quantity mistakes themselves instead of contacting support

  • Increases order value - Customers can easily add more units without searching for the product again

  • Improves customer experience - Simple self-service for common order adjustments

Consider disabling if: You sell exclusively one-per-order items (personalized products, custom items) or have strict inventory controls.

Important: Order Downgrade Requirement
