What are Fulfilment Rules?

Fulfilment Rules determine when an order should not be editable because it's likely already been sent to your warehouse or fulfilment system. These rules help prevent customers from editing orders that are already being processed or shipped.

Important: Fulfilment Rules override Order Editing Rules. If a Fulfilment Rule applies to an order, it takes priority over any other Order Editing settings you've configured.

What Can Fulfilment Rules Do?

Fulfilment Rules allow you to automatically place orders on hold (or skip the hold) based on specific conditions you define. This gives you precise control over which orders are editable.

Fulfilement Rule options

  • Payment captured

  • Has specific tag

  • Does not have specific tag

  • No order holds

  • The order is past the Editing Deadline

How to Set Up Fulfilment Rules

  1. Navigate to Settings in your Order Editing dashboard

  2. Scroll to the Fulfilment Rules section

  3. Click Add Condition

  4. Define your conditions:
