What Notifications Are Sent?
When enabled, customers receive emails confirming:

Outstanding Payment Reminders
What Are Outstanding Payment Reminders?
This feature sends customers an email reminder if they added items to their order but forgot to complete the additional payment after two hours and before the editing period expires.
Why Enable This Feature?
Recovers potential lost revenue: Customers may start adding items but get distracted and forget to pay. A reminder brings them back to complete the purchase.
Improves customer experience: Helpful nudge ensures customers get everything they want without missing the editing deadline.
How to Enable Outstanding Payment Reminders
In the Order Editing Notifications section
Locate Outstanding Payment Reminders
Toggle ON
Click Save
Self-Service Cancellation
These settings let you configure the notifications sent to customers who cancel their own orders.
If this option is enabled, Shopify will automatically send an order cancellation confirmation email from your store whenever a customer cancels their order themselves.
Order Edits Reversed
These settings control notifications sent when order edits are automatically reversed. For example, due to non-payment or other system conditions.
If this option is enabled, Shopify will automatically send the customer an email confirmation notifying them that their order edits have been reversed.
